A Day in the Life
My weekdays are crazy. Between Let’s Play Music and carpooling, I barely have time to breath. Here is last Thursday…….
Here we are in the car ready to take Katy to school at 7:15 a.m.
We dropped by Cody’s house to pick him up for school.
Most mornings I put on my makeup in the car. Don’t worry, I’m an expert when it comes to makeup and driving. Talking on the phone and driving however, are never a good idea for me. If you don’t believe me, just ask the policeman I almost ran over not too long ago.
Here Holly is putting Abby’s shoes on.
Notice how Holly is doing everything? (This is one of the perks of having older kids).
I picked up the Pederson, Lunt and Lee’s kids at 7:30 a.m. for school.
Finally, an hour later, we arrived at Abby’s school.
Once I finished with that I headed over to Scottsdale to go to an appointment.
Then I went to Costco with Rebecca and her kids!
A few hours later got back in the car to pick up Holly and her friends. Are you tired yet?
My car was hideously dirty so I decided it would be a good Idea to go to the car wash on our way.
Yea! I finally got Holly! I went directly home to put my feet up! Yea right.
I got to go home, clean up, make dinner do some laundry and finally, put the kids to bed! Lance was gone so I had to to it by myself. Luckily he came home later that night. I miss him when he’s not around.
This day ended great! I got to go over to Jaimie’s house and do crafts. We made some believe signs and some curly bows. What a fun night! I hope we do it again soon.

Barbeque
We had a barbeque last Friday. I was just looking at the pictures and wanted to share them. As usual, the girls had a grand time together.
I’m amazed that Rylee will sit in that chair and be so happy.
We played Guitar Hero for the first time. It was a lot of fun. Lance said it was addicting. Us ladies played for a bit and then went outside to play games. It was a lot of fun!
Academy Awards
The young women had a night celebrating their accomplishments for their 10 hour project. Katy’s project was to grow a garden. They made a video of each young women sharing what they worked on. Katy said she discovered that our garden would only grow squash….not corn, not peas, not green beans and not pumpkins. At least we tried…..maybe we’ll be more successful next year!
Katy looked like a princess in this gown. You could tell she felt beautiful.
Here, we have the hired help serving popcorn to
the paparazzi. I loved your cake Camie. Can I hire
you as my personal chef?

The Girl in the White-flowered Sheet
Ding Dong! The wedding bells are ringing and... Oh wait, sorry, that's just Holly in a sheet.
Yes, Holly has a sheet that she wants to keep. Here she is all wrapped up in it.
*Sniff*, it's so sad that she will be leaving.....to put the dress in the trash!

Trick or treating
This is in Katy's bat pumpkin
We had a ton of fun on Halloween. I was bummed that I missed our ward party. I had wanted to see everyone in their costumes. However, we still had fun with Lance's family. We had a fire and roasted hot dogs.
Lance's sister Becky made a chicken and rice stew and served it in a pumpkin. I made some home made cornbread to top it off. After stuffing ourselves we went trick or treating around the neighborhood. Here are some fun pics of the trick or treating.....

Flowery Abby
Katy, Holly and Abby made barrettes and bows with flowers and ribbon. We covered Abby's head with flowers. Isn't she cute?
I often find myself taking pictures of Abby's hair so she can see what it looks like. She is very particular on how she looks. One day she didn't want to go to school because she felt shy in that hair style.
I never did Katy and Holly's hair when they were little. Now I wish I had its been a lot of fun. Holly has been a little jealous. She's been asking me if I will do her hair if she grows it out. I told her I would.
